PaxFlow listed as a Top 10 Startup to watch from Iceland in 2024 and beyond
PaxFlow has experienced an exhilarating journey over the past year. Following a successful fundraising round in April 2023, where we raised $2.2 million from Brunnur Ventures, we expanded our team, accelerated product development, and amplified our international sales and marketing efforts.
Earlier this year, PaxFlow was shortlisted by Eu-startups.com as one of exceptionally promising Icelandic startups watch in 2024 and beyond. Our recognition by EU-startups.com, attests to our innovative work and its impact.
With the secured funding, we improved our platform by introducing unique features that streamline daily tasks for tour operators, thereby enhancing their efficiency.
Over the year, PaxFlow has made considerable progress. The team has expanded to eight members, including five developers and three customer care employees. We also established our office in Reykjavik.
On the product front, we introduced several new features, primarily focusing on tour disruption management to handle changes and cancellations. We also automated customer communication with email and SMS, enhanced customer self-service, and enabled pre-arrival upselling and cross-selling. We made our presence felt at major events like Phocuswright in the USA, Arival in Orlando, and the World Travel Market (WTM).
Our journey reflects what startups can achieve with the right support and resources. Being recognized among the top 10 startups to watch in Iceland signifies not only our past accomplishments, but also the exciting developments we anticipate for the future. We are excited for what the future holds for PaxFlow!
