PaxFlow selected for the Nordic Travel Tech Incubator 2022
We are super proud to announce that PaxFlow has been selected to participate in the Nordic Travel Tech Incubator program 2022.
The Nordic Travel Tech Incubator is an incubator program for startups in the travel and tourism industry in the Nordics. The incubator is organised by Startup Norway in partnership with Nordic Travel Tech Lab AS and several contributors across the Nordics and North Europe including Icelandic Tourism Cluster, Íslenski ferðaklasinn.
The incubator is a 3 month program that combines mentoring with travel industry experts, structured lectures and practical workshops with focus on traction and fundraising.
“Our goal with participating in the incubator is to broaden our network of possible partners and investors and learn from top experts in field through mentoring and workshops”, says Soffía Kristín Þórðardóttir, Product Manager and CEO of PaxFlow.
The people behind PaxFlow is a dedicated team of travel and tech enthusiast on a mission to empower tour operators with easy-to-use automation and customer self-service tools to streamline operational workflows and save time spent on tour management.
The PaxFlow product is built on the experience of previous projects for two leading tour operators in Iceland, Bus Travel and Reykjavik Excursion. The learnings from those two projects is what has driven us to focus on standardising tools for the tour and activity space, says Soffia.
PaxFlow aims to be “the automation tool” for the tour operators with ready to use automation workflows built on top of some of the leading reservation systems in the world. PaxFlow already has integrations with Bokun and Rezdy.
“We are going to revolutionise how tour operators organise the internal workflows required to successfully run a tour from start to finish. Our objective to solve the bottlenecks of tour operation and to help tour and activity suppliers grow by providing automation and customer self-service tools to streamline day to day operations.
There is a lot of work to be done in the coming months in building our automation engine and the underlying data structures and to succeed we are going to need further funding and all the support we can get. We believe that the Nordic Travel Tech Incubator is a valuable resource on that journey”.
